What a crying Shane.....

I think I'm running out of creative ways to use Shane's name in my blog title...we'll have to see if I need to shelve that gimmick soon.

Yesterday totally sucked. I try not to bash Monday too much - after all, not its fault it's the first day of the work week! But man, yesterday was definitely a bad Munday. I realized, as I was getting dressed for work, that I left a load of clothes in the washer at the laundromat the night before. Obviously that's a bummer. It wasn't a big load, but it was about two-thirds of my work wardrobe. At least it wasn't all my work clothes.

Once I got over that little tragedy, I hopped in my car, slammed the door, slammed the door again, slammed it a third, fourth, and fifth time before focusing on getting the beast started. Then I examined the door. It was not latching and I could not seem to coax it into latching or locking. I thought, hey, no big deal, it will probably latch in a minute....

It's a very good thing my place is not far from work, and the drive only has a few turns because I had to hold my door closed the entire commute. I was also fortunate to just have slightly cold but sunny weather. If I had been partially soaked from rain or sleet, I would have been intolerable for the entire day.

Once I got to work, I had to deal with a slowass computer all day and I did call the laundromat about my clothes.......but those garments are gone like Maine's playoff hopes in Hockey East (which I also did not need to know their status but found out yesterday). How the hell do we go from being tops in the country to bottoms in the conference in one year?!?!?!?! Grrrrrr. Better luck next year... I'd say they can only go up but that isn't entirely true. They could move down a slot, and let Merrimack out of the cellar next year.

Now I'm all pissy thinking about yesterday.
